Had a stopover in Ethiopia reroute from kilamanjaro to osaka. Was hoping to have some of the lovey Ethiopian food with injera but despite walking around the airport twice , I found only 2 local restaurants and none of them had anything vegetarian on the menu. That's that for the vegetarian Ethiopian we get stateside.
Though, browsing through the souvenir shops next, it was interesting to see some of the same sculptures and carvings as Tanzania. Though some of them were more inclined toward erotica going by the picture below. There were also variations of Mona Lisa painting, the Ethiopian way, which I failed to get s picture of. Would sure be an interesting place to visit sometime.
