Took on the task of measuring the walls of the little covered seating area outside the temple. Followed by some delicious cold peaches. After which taka, Dorothee's husband offered to take us shopping for local spices. You can't imagine how unbearably difficult it is to know what you're looking at, leave alone the ingredients of the same, when nothing is in English. Taka was heaven sent - picked up some wasabi, nori , Japanese spices, soba noodles amongst other things. Now I only need to ensure I cook something from all of this once I get home!
Back to the temple, a long evening walk , dinner of more stir fry vegetables and rice. Followed by jasmine tea and some pancakes stuffed with sweet red bean paste for dessert.
