Back on the bus onward to Mt Cook - only it get like the emperor's new clothes coz it was no where to be seen behind the curtains of heavy fog , drizzling rain and dense clouds.
Still easily the most scenic place I've ever been to. Also the most wettest place I've been to. Braved the rain to walk about town but was still sore from Ben Lamont so spent the evening planning out my remaining time ( which seems to be rapidly disappearing). And made good use of the sauna at the YHA which was a godsend to my sore muscles.
