May 2 - of first impressions.

My first sight of the middle earth - snow capped mountain ranges , snaky rivers, lush green valleys, crispy autumn sun, a hint of orange in the leaves as they prepare for winter.

Walked through the town centre of queenstown - taking in the rich kiwi accents around me , the glitzy signs selling adrenaline rushing activities, restaurants claimimg to have the best lamb in town, and other  tourists like me wandering around with a sense of wonder and excitememt in unfamiliar surroundings.
