Spent the morning kayaking with fur seals in kaikoura at South Bay point. It was amazing watching a whole pod of fur seals flipping around right by out kayaks. Was a good upper body workout and a break for my legs which have been doing a lot of hiking lately.
Glad I met kris - she was a great kayak partner , a fun attitude and an awesome spirit. Also met yana who was from CR and was an amazing free spirit.
Ended up going to Oahu waterfalls to see some seal pups later in the day - more Germans. Germans love NZ - they're everywhere. Anyways - back to the sea pups - cutest creatures ice ever seen. Playful, blissfully ignorant of the world as we know it. Not a care in the world - I envy them.

Spent the evening making up for lost wifi time yesterday - been busy trying to battle out the upcoming rainy days.
